I have had natural hair for over ten years and in my journey I always looked for shea butter as my go to for everything. Now that I am mature in my Journey I have started to implement other products in my routine to help grow and nurture my strands.

I decided to go natural in 2005 when I was a teenager and I was experiencing identity crisis issues. My mom was adamant that i would relax my hair but I rebelled( not a good idea by the way) and went ahead and cut my hair, starting from beyond tinnie winnie afro, more of a brush cut to the struggles I experienced trying to prove to the local township girls and boys that afros can be cool and beautiful. To be honest it was tough because back then I did not have access to a cool phone that had access to internet or countless data bundles.
